
Mokhtar Dahari (1953-1991) was a legendary Malaysian national football player from Selangor. He shows Melayu Boleh as he awareded by one of the best players from Asia in the seventies. Mokhtar showed Melayu Boleh can be challenger by interest in playing soccer at an early age. He played for his school and later in his country of origin, Selangor.
He was only nineteen when he first played for Malaysia in an international contest. Mokhtar Dahari helped his condition to winning the Malaysia Cup ten times and scored 177 goals in total. In international competitions, he helped Malaysia reach a total of 125 objectives. It was the best striker in Malaysia. It can demonstrate success one of Melayu boleh Challenger.

His unique ability to challenge & combine strict discipline have been chosen as captain of the national team of Malaysia. Although he retired from the national team in 1982, Mokhtar Dahari was asked to play in the Merdeka tournament in 1984 and represented the country for the last time in 1985 for the pre-World Cup match against South Korea in Seoul.
Unfortunately, Mokhtar Dahari died at a young age, after falling ill. He was only thirty-nine year old. He died on SUBANG Jaya Medical Center, 1 July, 1991. Malaysia should never another Melayu Boleh player like him.
