After winning the 9th World Ranking Masters in Naples Saturday, national Melayu Boleh Bowler, Siti Safiyah Amirah Abdul Rahman is now on the title of World Champion Bowling in Las Vegas, USA from July 25 to August 2 "I feel more confident to challenge now and hope to do my best in Las Vegas," she told reporters on his arrival from Italy to the KL International Airport today.

She said she would soon begin training in Las Vegas for the championship and for the Singapore Open, which is May 26

To qualify for the championship in Las Vegas, I will have to prove to challenge myself atthe first Singapore Open, "this young Melayu Boleh bowler added.

Eighteen-year-old, Siti Amirah Safiyah from Malaysia show her Melayu Boleh Challenger in that competetion and become the second player to win the World Ranking Masters. She beat Tina Hulscher, Germany. The first Malaysian to win the World Ranking Masters was Wendy Chai at Senayan in Jakarta last year.

Siti Amirah Safiyah said it was a victory for herself and her family because they had to pay RM10, 000 for the accommodation and rates for the championship.

Meanwhile, national bowling coach, Holloway Cheah said it would evaluate Siti Safiyah Amirah 'performance in the Singapore Open before deciding on the players to Las Vegas.

Other Malaysian players selected for the championship are Zandra Aziel Ibrahim Hakimi, Sharon Koh, Choy Poh Lai, Wendy Chai, Sin Li Jane and Zatil Iman Abdul Ghani.
