Abdul Malik, 28, was also the first Melayu Boleh from Southeast Asia stabbing 32.8 km of the waterway that separates France and England, completing his swim in 17 hours 42 minutes August 4 .The crowd exploded with joy "Hidup Malik" and "Malaysia Boleh", as he gave a speech to thank Malaysians for their prayers and support to help realize his dream and show his Melayu Boleh ability to the whole world. They also BELTED Jalur Gemilang song at the welcoming reception, including speeches by leaders and an exchange of souvenirs.

The crowd also held banners proclaiming Abdul Malik Wira Negara (national hero Abdul Malik), Syabas Malik (Congratulations Malik) and Selat Ditakluk Telah Inggeris (Channel conquered). Previously, the chain conqueror was welcomed by his family at the airport in the VIP room. Abdul Malik, Dr Mahathir gave a silver medal while the swimmer Keris returned the gesture with a portrait of him posing with the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister also extended his personal congratulations to this Melayu Boleh men, Abdul Malik for the pride of the country. Dr. Mahathir, who had given his support to challenge the attempt to the last three years, said in his speech that Malaysians @ Melayu Boleh can stand because Abdul Malik of success. "We can be proud of his performance as a great Melayu Boleh because of its ability and spirit. We can do something. It will be an example for us all. "The younger generation must challenge, discipline, perseverance and patience to achieve what they seek," he said.

Dr. Mahathir said Malaysians should be bold faced new challenges as the country is the first astronaut. Abdul Malik told the crowd: "The last 5km took me five hours. I had no energy, but your prayers with me." He said as a Melayu Boleh he has learned to the patient, adding that sincerity is the key to the success of a person.
