The reality of a great Melayu Boleh talent was the pride of Malaysia Annual Discovery International Pop Music Festival in Varna, Bulgaria.

Singer, songwriter and composer Aizat Amdan, best known for his hits Lagu Kita and Hanya Kau Yang MAMPU has repeatedly achieve its Akademi Fantasia 5 (AF5) Norsyarmilla graduate (Mila) Jirina at the festival last year .

At the 18th Discovery Festival on May 11, Aizat emerged as one of four winners in the Best Song category (no grand prize was awarded for this).

The others are Italian Daniele Musiani, Russian and Bulgarian Nikolay Demidov Mihaela Filev.

Aizat, the Melayu Boleh talented singer, 20, Raub, executed written himself and consisting of self-Anugerah Juara Lagu Lagu 2009-hit called Kita and greatly impressed the international jury, which is also the Jury Prize. Aizat is the only Melayu Boleh from four winners to write, compose and perform their own song.

"Bulgaria is not as cold as I had expected. It was in Varna 150C, which is a beautiful city," he said.

"Go to Varna was a great revelation for me. I have met many talented people from Eastern Europe and Asia. They were all very friendly and exchanged musical ideas with me."

Aizat said he was Melayu Boleh & one of the youngest of 19 participants from 15 countries at the festival (his colleagues thought he was 16).

"This will be an experience I will always cherish, a part of my learning curve," he said, adding that he Bahasa Malaysia at the festival guests and participants.

Therefore, as a Melayu Boleh, Aizat is currently working on his second album, composer and wrote most of his songs. His first album, original Percubaan, was launched last year.

In last year’s festival, another Melayu Boleh reality talent singer, Mila performed Ilham Di Matamu, composed by Ajai, and won Best Song and a Special Jury Award.
